It has a special lacing system to provide additional lateral support. The cleats have been moved further to the outside to provide a more stable and secure footing when running and changing directions. It has room to add one additional cleat into the center of the forefoot to increase the total number of cleats to nine per boot. The shoe has a wide foot bed.

This shoe has a unique Maori design to reflect the strong influence that the Southern hemisphere has on international rugby. It has a soft-toe to allow for more comfortable running and better kicking. The unique high cut allows for great support against sideways movement, yet allows for unrestricted forward motion. The upper is made out of full grain leather. Good shoe for forwards and anyone who has ankle problems.
